Gotta love
Mark, the richest person on the planet to actively cultivate a daily blog(Richard Branson has one,
but farts around once in a while on it, when he feels like it, while Cuban puts reams of daily stuff on there(great comments by people on there too, which I live more that the posts themselves).
Good Luck with the MBA. I presume you will be going into inv. banking. I did that for 12 years with citigroup on the 88th fl of the Sears Tower, and quit it all this year to focus on my ticket-hub-ish biz which not only brings in 75% of what I used to make, but enables me to live anywhere I jolly well please. I'm trying Austin, Tex. right now, but after 3 months its getting old, though the south by southwest conference
in march was a blast. All they have
out here is a motherload of bars and restaurants, and you can only drink, eat, and excrete so much before it gets old. I'm gonna move back to wrigleyville this summer
for awhile and go from there.
I figure that this week-end is a good time to drive back, so I can catch the Indy on sunday. It truly
is quite a blast, and blows your hearing away for about a week, but it comes back......
-ScottAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14743225.post-74973325843028215842007-05-23T00:58:00.000+08:002007-05-23T00:58:00.000+08:00Oh, forgot to say I found your blogvia Mark Cuban'...Oh, forgot to say I found your blog
via Mark Cuban's thing. You, and maybe some of those same 7 folks who went to the derby with you, might really dig the Indy 500 this sunday in indianapolis. It's probably the coolest and in ways strangest thing
to do memorial day week-end out here. It's not like Nascar, and is quite prestigious, and showcases racers from Brazil, Italy, etc.,
much more like formula 1 racing.
We usually have japanese drivers as well. Its cheap(15 bucks at the gate will get you grandstand tix,
while you can get decent infield bench seats for 40 bucks online),
and a real blast. Its a total carnival atmposhere outside and inside, and it starts at noon, and lasts about 3 hours. Highly recommended, and only a two hour drive away!
If you have a ny questions about it, you can e-mail me at southwest3210@yahoo.com...later
-ScottAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
